DANCING WITH THE STARS CELEBRITY LINE-UP REVEALED -- INCLUDES HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER TOM DeLAY AND SINGER DONNY OSMOND

Dispelling rumors that former American Idol host Paula Abdul might be among celebrity performers on the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, show host Tom Bergeron revealed the new celebrity line-up that did not include Abdul.

The list includes some surprises, however -- most notably Former House Majority leader Tom DeLay.

Singer Donny Osmond was on hand for the announcement -- and said that he hopes to perform at least half as well as his sister did on the show. But then he laughed and said that actually he hopes to do even better than his popular sisters. "Gotta beat her," he joked.

Those agreeing to compete on the dance competition program that pairs professional dancers with celebrities:

Model Kathy Ireland, Grammy winner Macy Gray, actress Melissa Joan Hart, R&B artist Mya, actor Ashley Hamilton, wide-receiver Michael Irvin, Iron Chef America host Mark DeCascos and entertainer Donny Osmond.
Also, Osbourne family member Kelly Osbourne, actress Debi Mazar, mixed martial artist Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell, Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin, model Joanna Krupa, snowboarder Louis Vito, pop star Aaron Carter and, the big surprise, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.
